NOTICE of DEFERRAL:

On November 14, 2013, the Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issued Tyson Fresh Meats (Madison), Est. M244 M, a Notice of Intended Enforcement. This action was taken by FSIS in accordance with FSIS Rules of Practice Title 9 of the Code of Federal Regulations (9 CFR) 500.2 (a) (4), which states that FSIS may take a regulatory control action because of inhumane handling or slaughtering of livestock, which occured at your establishment on November 14, 2013.
