Citation: At approximately 1020 hrs at establishment 09726M doing business as Walter's Prime Cuts the following non-compliance was observed: The door facing north toward Bliley Rd. placed nearly in the middle of the north side of the building, has several large cracks in the glass some peices of glass are staggered outward leaving gaps and a portion of sharp edge exposed. Also upon further observation the door frame around the above mentioned door has at least two places that the metal is in need of repair due to decomposition of the metal. [redacted] was informed of this non-compliance and the non-compliance exists in a non-production area it is located at the end of a corridor exiting the building. No product was adulterated as a result of this finding.
Regulation:
416.2(b)(1) Construction. Establishment buildings, including their structures, rooms, and compartments must be of sound construction, be kept in good repair, and be of sufficient size to allow for processing, handling, and storage of product in a manner that does not result in product adulteration or the creation of insanitary conditions.
