Citation: On 08/17/10 at 10:30 hrs., I performed the unscheduled task of 03J01 via records review, and the following noncompliance was observed. On the lactic acid spray chart for CCP-2, there was no documentation of a direct observation for the procedure for the month of July. Malcolm Koontz, plant owner, confirmed that it had not been performed during July. This is in violation of regulation 417.4(a)(2)(ii) which states that: "Ongoing verification activities. Ongoing verification activities include, but are not limited to: (ii) Direct observations of monitoring activities and corrective actions." Malcolm Koontz was notified of the said noncompliance.
