Citation: on 11/3/2010 at approx 1430 the pre-chill trim number was 40 above the absolute limit of and the total of [redacted] was above the action number of [redacted] This is a failure of the plants Pre-chill Trim Conformance procedures under 381.76 (b). The plant does not have Action Procedures to implement if the dressing is out of compliance. So inspection personnel monitored processing to make sure all dressing failures were addressed.
Regulation:
381.76(b) Suspend random time prechill testing of the affected nonconformance category (processing or trim). Suspend random time postchill subgroup testing when the processing category is the affected nonconformance category.
