Citation: At approximately 1145 hours I walked into the packing area, in building 2. I went to line # [redacted] to perform a weight check. I observed an employee poking holes into the top of the plastic bags containing the product,  then closing the cases and pushing them into the tape machine. I immediately informed [redacted] Q.C. Supervisor and [redacted] GPM of my findings. Ms. [redacted] and Ms. [redacted] and I went back to the packing room area. Ms. [redacted] stopped the employee from poking holes in the plastic bags containing the product. Ms. [redacted] then placed 11 skids on hold. (1643 cases). I placed Retain Tag Number B36674896 to retain all 11 skids.[newline]This establishment is not following 9 CFR 416.4(d): Product processing, handling, storage, loading, unloading, at and during transportation must be protocted..


416.4(d) Product must be protected from adulteration during processing, handling, storage, loading, and unloading at and during transportation from official establishments.
