Citation: At approximately 2132 hours, I was performing a prechill finished standards test on Line # [redacted] I had a subgroup total of 38 on the page with the processing noncomformances, which exceeds the subgroup limit of 30. I notified [redacted] (Evis supervisor) of the noncompliance. I then notified the QA technician that a retest was needed for Line # [redacted] The QA technician performed a retest at 2148 hours and failed with a subgroup total of 30, which exceeds the tolerance total of 25. A postchill with prechill criteria was performed at 2202 hours and passed with a subgroup total of 23. Meanwhile the Evis QA technician did the next retest at 2200 hours and passed with a subgroup total of 14. Then another at 2206 hours and passed with a subgroup total of 16. The chilling QA technician did the next postchill retest at 2232 hours with a passing subgroup total of 21 and another at 2302 hours with a passing subgroup total of 21.The next retest was performed at 2332 hours with a passing subgroup total of 18. The last retest in chilling was performed at 2356 hours and passed with a subgroup total of 23. There was no product retained. This document serves as written notification that your failure to comply with regulatory requirement(s) could result in additional regulatory or administrative action.

381.76 (b)(1) There are five systems of postmortem inspection: Streamlined Inspection System (SIS) and the New Line Speed (NELS) Inspection System, both of which shall be used only for broilers and cornish game hens; the New Turkey Inspection (NTI) System, which shall be used only for turkeys; Traditional Inspection; and Ratite Inspection.
