Citation: On the 7th of February, 2011; at approximately 1000 hours, while performing 05A03 collecting sample for salmonella analysis, the following was observed in the cooler 4: *a plastic bag containing meat product and a box containing meat products had no labels or identified product on the bag or on the box. The aforementioned items were located on the plastic pallet directly underneath the cooling unit. slaughter supervisor, was informed of the noncompliance. He immediate initiated the corrective action. This is a failure of 9CFR 316.
Regulation:
316.13(a) Except as otherwise provided in part 325 of this subchapter, when any inspected and passed product for domestic commerce is moved from an official establishment, the outside container shall bear an official inspection legend as prescribed in part 312 of this subchapter.
317.1(a) When, in an official establishment, any inspected and passed product is placed in any receptacle or covering constituting an immediate container, there shall be affixed to such container a label as described in § 317.2 except that the following do not have to bear such a label.
