Violation:  416.13(c), 416.4(a), 416.4(b)

Citation: 0615 hrs. Processing room. While performing pre-operational inspection the following non-compliance was observed. Multiple pieces of white paint chips were found on the white conveyer belt above the cone line. Pieces of fat from previous day's production were also found on the side of the metal frame of the conveyer belt above the cone line. QC member and sanitation supervisor were notified of the findings. Conveyer was rejected and tag #B40954018 was applied. These insanitary conditions are in violation of 9CFR 416.1, 416.13(c), 416.4(a) and 416.4(b). This document serves as written documentation that your failure to comply with regulatory requirements could result in additional regulatory or administrative action.

Regulation:

416.13(c) Each official establishment shall monitor daily the implementation of the procedures in the Sanitation SOP’s.

416.4(a) All food-contact surfaces, including food-contact surfaces of utensils and equipment, must be cleaned and sanitized as frequently as necessary to prevent the creation of insanitary conditions and the adulteration of product.

416.4(b) Non-food-contact surfaces of facilities, equipment, and utensils used in the operation of the establishment must be cleaned and sanitized as frequently as necessary to prevent the creation of insanitary conditions and the adulteration of product.
