Citation: At approximately 0700 hours the paper towel dispenser by the hand wash sink in the processing area was observed to have a heavy accumulation of dust on top of the dispenser Also observed was the frame of stainless steel table in the wrapping area used to store clean gray totes was showing signs of rust along the sides of the lower legs supports of the table. This a failure to comply with regulations 9 CFR 416.1 and 416.4(b) This document serves as written notification that your failure to comply with regulatory requirements could result in additional regulatory or administrative action.
Regulation:
416.1 Each official establishment must be operated and maintained in a manner sufficient to prevent the creation of insanitary conditions and to ensure that product is not adulterated.
416.4(b) Non-food-contact surfaces of facilities, equipment, and utensils used in the operation of the establishment must be cleaned and sanitized as frequently as necessary to prevent the creation of insanitary conditions and the adulteration of product.
